🌍❤️ This year, #PatriotNation had the privilege of welcoming exchange student Michelle Asigne from Ghana into our VMHS family. Throughout the school year, Michelle built meaningful friendships, embraced new experiences, and became an important part of our campus community — even growing a couple of inches along the way! 😊 VMHS was also honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Department of State in recognition of the relationships, cultural connections, and educational experiences fostered throughout Michelle’s time on our campus. Azalea’s work will be featured in the Young Pegasus Anthology, a long-running San Antonio youth poetry publication that highlights talented young writers across the area.

💙✨ An Afternoon to Remember for Patriot Nation ✨💙
Yesterday, our Essential Academics students experienced their very own prom celebration right here on campus — and it was nothing short of special.

Hosted by our incredible PALS students and supported by staff across VMHS, the event gave students the opportunity to celebrate, dance, build social connections, and create lasting memories in a joyful and welcoming environment.

From decorations and music to hair, nails, and a Chick-fil-A meal, so many members of Patriot Nation came together to make this first-ever campus event unforgettable.

A huge thank you to our PALS students, Essential Academics team, cosmetology students, Coach Tope for serving as DJ, and everyone who helped bring this celebration to life. ❤️🤍💙
