Heather Schumacher

I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal at Converse Elementary, supporting our teachers and students for academic success!

I am a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX where I earned a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Sociology and a master's degree in the Art of Teaching. I started my career in Judson ISD right here at Converse Elementary, teaching second grade. I have also worked at Coronado Village Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher, 3rd grade teacher, RTI Teacher, and RTI Facilitator. I was able to come back to Converse Elementary as an Academic Coach. 

I believe that education is the key to success for all of our students. I want to collaborate with Converse staff and families to provide the best learning environment possible for all our students.
