Hello, I am so excited to be the Academic Coach at Converse Elementary this year! 

I grew up on the Gulf Coast in a small town until I moved away for college. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2003 with a degree in broadcasting, and worked as a radio DJ for a few years until I decided it just wasn't for me. I then pursued my masters degree in Education Administration and started my teaching career in 2004. I taught middle school Science and Social Studies before shifting to math in 2011. I continued to teach middle school math until 2018, then I transferred to elementary and taught 5th grade for 3 years and Special Education K-5 for 1 year. This is my 20th year in education and I have been in Judson ISD for 10 years. I absolutely love being in elementary and have a deep love for teaching math! 

I love to travel and hope to go to all 63 National Parks before I turn 63!
